ST JOSEPH FETE A LA PAROISSE ST JACQUES DES DEUX PLATEAUX
Ce samedi 1er Mai 2010 fut un jour mémorable pour les Amis de St Joseph de la paroisse St jacques qui recevaient à l’occasion de la fête de St Joseph travailleur, leurs collègues des autres sessions implantés sur le diocèse. Déjà à 7H, la fanfare de Blockhauss nous égayait par des hymnes de fête, tandis que les paroissiens et amis de St joseph commençaient à arriver et demandaient des intentions de messe. Radio Espoir arrivée une heure après a fait ses installations. Puis le célébrant principal, son Excellence, Mgr Boniface ZIRI, évêque d’Abengourou est arrivé, accompagné par son cérémoniaire, le Père Modeste DJEKE. Il fut accueilli par le Curé de la Paroisse l’abbé AKE Patrice Jean.
Il fut conduit à la sacristie où attendaient les prêtres concélébrants : les abbés Pascal AKAFOU, Serges Daniel AKAFOU, Poda Charles(aumônier paroissial des amis de St Joseph), Oko Cyprien, Amagoua Eric et d’autres prêtres venus d’ailleurs (Gagnoa, Brofodoumé et grand Séminaire d’Anyama).
La messe a commencé à 9H précises et après la salutation d’usage : la première nouvelle fut donnée par Mme ANOH Jeanne, responsable paroissiale des amis de St Joseph qui a souhaité la bienvenue à tous. Puis le Curé de la paroisse, l’Abbé AKE, a donné la deuxième nouvelle.
L’évêque a poursuivi la messe par le Confiteor et nous avons écouté les textes du jour. A l’homélie, son Excellence a dit sa joie de se retrouver de nouveau à St Jacques, la paroisse où il a passé les meilleures années de sa vie de prêtre. Il a surtout exhorté les chrétiens à l’humilité et à l’esprit de partage. Après la messe, la responsable diocèse des amis de St Joseph Mme LEA Zoukougbély. a remercié les participants à la messe et l’évêque. Un copieux repas a été servi, à la fin de la messe, au grand bonheur des convives.
